Power of 100 – Red Wing Membership Terms & Conditions

 

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) set forth the expectations and responsibilities of members of Power of 100 – Red Wing, a women’s giving circle supporting nonprofit organizations in Goodhue County, Minnesota. By joining as a member, you agree to the following:

 

1. Purpose of Membership

Power of 100 – Red Wing brings women together to collectively support nonprofit organizations serving Goodhue County, Minnesota. Members pool their donations to make a greater impact in the community.

2. Membership Commitment

• Each member agrees to contribute $100 twice per year (total $200 annually).

• Contributions are directed to the nonprofit organization selected by majority vote of the membership present at the Impact Award Event.

• Contributions are made directly to the selected nonprofit organization and are collected, recorded, and distributed by Power of 100 – Red Wing.

3. Voting and Selection of Nonprofits

• Members in good standing are eligible to vote.

• Members must be present at scheduled giving events in order to vote.

• The nonprofit receiving the majority vote will be the recipient of that giving cycle’s collective donations.

• All voting results are final.

4. Member Responsibilities

• Attend giving events twice a year.

• Submit contributions in a timely manner, as directed after each vote.

5. Communication Consent

• By joining, members agree to receive communication from Power of 100 – Red Wing through email, text messages, and phone calls related to membership, events, and giving activities.

• Members are responsible for providing accurate and updated contact information.

• Members may opt out of specific types of communication by notifying the organization, but doing so may limit their ability to stay informed.

6. Withdrawal or Non-Payment

• Membership is voluntary and may be discontinued at any time with written notice.

• If a member chooses not to contribute during a cycle, she will not be eligible to vote in that cycle.

7. Liability

Power of 100 – Red Wing is a volunteer-led giving circle. It does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Members are responsible for their own charitable contribution decisions and any associated tax reporting.

8. Privacy

Member contact information will be used only for communication related to Power of 100 – Red Wing. It will not be shared or sold.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Minnesota.

 

By becoming a member of Power of 100 – Red Wing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
